1	Participate in job fairs by station personnel who have substantial responsibility for hiring decisions.	2/21/07: ITT Technical Institute Open House attended by Chief Engineer 3/1/07: Carson-Newman College Career Showcase 2007 attended by General Manager
2	Establish an internship program designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment.	Two students completed internships with WMAK during this period. Both were University of Tennessee students.
3	Participate in events or programs relating to career opportunities in broadcasting sponsored by educational institutions.	June 2006: Commercial Producer participated in and spoke to students during a "Project Grad" event at Pellissippi State Community College. November 2006: Production & Promotion Manager was a guest speaker during a production class at the University of Tennessee. March 2007: Production & Promotion Manager was a guest speaker at a meeting of the business club at Tennessee Wesleyan College.
4	Establish a training program designed to enable station personnel to acquire skills that could qualify them for higher-level positions.	September 2006-present: Master Control Operator was trained in operation of field camera for high school sports events. This operator is now our back-up camera operator for high school sports events. December 2006-present: Commercial Producer is being trained for duties relating to Production & Promotion Manager position. January 2007-present: Traffic Assistant is being trained for duties relating to Traffic Manager position.
